Irish Elm is highly prized and our craftsmen scour the countryside every spring to source our elm following the winter storms. It is then seasoned for over two years for it to develop its Unique Spalted Grains.
Handmade In Galway, Ireland, With No Two Bowls The Same
Our Spalted Irish Elm Bowls are made in our wood turning studio in Galway, Ireland, by our skilled craftsmen. Each bowl is engraved on the base with the phrase Irish Elm. Additionally we can add the Year, Name, Initials or Similar to make your bowl a truly unique gift. When you commission your unique bowl please allow three to four weeks for production as your bowl is handmade to order for you. Your bowl will go through a series of steps from seasoned wood to completed bowl that requires the bowl to rest between stages. These handmade bowls are a natural product with Unique Grains And Hues and as such variation to bowl shown is to be expected.

Your Handmade Irish Elm Bowl will be between 280mm to 300mm wide and 110mm to 140mm in depth depending on the available wood at the time of order.
The Handmade Irish Elm Bowl is also available in a 230mm wide bowl.

Shipping Policy
Turnaround times for our personalised gift orders are 3-5-day business days (or as stated on the individual product information page or other published information) + delivery time.
Delivery is by courier or national carrier, who in the main provide exceptional service, however please be aware delays can occur and these are out of our control (force majure).
We have suppliers based in Mainland Europe, Ireland & UK who ship to to our customers worldwide* (* excludes large parcels, ball pits etc.).
UK sourced goods, marked as such in the product short description, are liable for VAT on entry to ROI / EU. These are shipped via Courier Tracked Service. The courier will contact you regarding payment of VAT and other fees.

Refund Policy
Products Purchased From ShopStreet.ie Vendors
Under Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy on-line or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. This excludes the products listed as exceptions in the small print section*.
Your vendor can offer a refund on your purchase price within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
Your vendor will issue the refund within 14 Days of receipt of the return.
Purchaser is responsible for cost of returns postage.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
The process
- Contact vendor in normal working hours to be issued with returns number and appropriate returns address.
Registered Customers – Open a Support Ticket with your refund request in My Account -> Orders page. - Your vendor contact you to resolve any issues and in the case where issues are not resolved will issue this number within 2 working days by email. You may be asked for clear pictures of the packaging and product (including the SKU number) as part of the returns process from certain suppliers.
- Write returns number on the outside of the packaging (Mandatory), please use original packaging if possible and enclose original documentation received – write on the back the reason for the return (This is not mandatory). Please ensure you remove our labels from the packaging.
- Post the item to your vendor and obtain a proof of postage receipt. Sender is responsible for cost of returns postage.
- Your vendor will issue your refund within 14 days.
The small print – exceptions
It’s important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that it’s undamaged and unused.
Items purchased from UK
If you return item because you decline to pay fees due on order entry to EU we cannot refund UK shipping fee plus €10 admin charge.
Products you are unable to cancel, refund or exchange*
We cannot offer refunds or exchanges, unless faulty, on the following items:
- Products which have been personalised for you
- Products hand made to order for you
- Where a product has been specially ordered in for you (for example with custom ball colour combinations, etc), unless faulty, we’re unable to refund or offer an exchange.
- Vendors are unable to accept cancellations for these orders, unless within 24 hours of the order being placed.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
